Keerat’s Awesome Trip to Singapore – October 2024
In October last year, I spent an unforgettable week in Singapore — one of the best weeks of my life. The trip was packed with exciting culinary experiences, iconic sights, and the perfect mix of adventure and comfort. One of the highlights was attending several cool chef meets, which made the trip especially memorable for a food enthusiast like me.₊✩‧₊˚౨ৎ˚₊✩‧₊

I stayed at the Novotel on Little India, where the breakfast buffet quickly became one of my favorite meals each day. I also indulged in incredible hawker food, especially the wontons and shrimp satay, which were full of flavor and authenticity. ‧˚₊•┈୨୧┈•‧₊˚⊹

My itinerary included visits to major attractions like Marina Bay Sands, Sentosa Island, Universal Studios, and some of Singapore’s famous gardens like the Botanic Gardens, where for the first time in my life I saw a commander lizard, and the Orchid Garden. The city’s public transportation system, including buses and MRTs, was convenient and a joy to use — clean, safe, and well-organized. (Though I found it very hilarious that the stinkiest fruit, Durian, if brought in the public transport would cost a Fine of $200 )

One of my favorite experiences was roaming the city late at night. Thanks to Singapore’s incredible safety, my aunt and I were out on the streets until 2:30 AM, walking from a street food area all the way to Marina Bay Sands. The quiet energy of the city at night was magical.⋆。°✩☾⋆。°✩

If I had one regret, it’s that I couldn’t stay longer. Singapore truly left a lasting impression, and I can’t wait for the chance to return. ˊᴖˋ
